Simon is one of the founders of the critically acclaimed Rough Old Wife Cidery in Kent.
Having trained as a geologist and with experience in the oil industry and as a marketing director, Simon made a career change when a friend wanted to find a use for store rejected apples.
5 years after the Rough Old Wife Cidery opened they are now producing an award winning, chemical free cider.
Simon is a champion of real cider and assists the Campaign for Real Ale with policy and marketing issues, alongside making regular appearances in the media as a recognised cider expert.
