Christmas Baking

Scrumptious stollen and traditional mince pies with a twist; dazzle your friends and impress your family with the Christmas skills learned on this practical course.

Christmas is an ideal time to explore and construct new traditions. Spend the day baking a selection of festive favourites and take home a new tradition of your very own. From Continental stollen to our very own version of the historic mince pie; master puff pastry and discover how to make your own marzipan and enriched doughs.

On this course you will produce and take home:

  • German inspired stollen
  • A modern twist on the traditional mince pie

This course includes light refreshments and lunch.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the School.

A festive course - Stollen went down a treat in the run up to Christmas, and I was able to recreate it myself. The original lasted about 2 days - very popular in our household!!
