Winter Preserves

Join us for a day of preserving and learn how to make Seville orange marmalade, mango chutney and lemon curd.

The secret behind making delicious preserves lies in the freshness of ingredients. Late winter is Seville orange season. Discover how to balance bitter and sweet flavours to make your very own Seville orange marmalade.

You will also make a national treasure, mango chutney, originally an Indian relish made from fresh fruits and spices. In keeping with the citrus theme we will finish the day with making your very own lemon curd, the perfect treat to brighten up those winter days.

This course includes light refreshments and an informal lunch.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the school.
