Preserve the taste of English summertime and discover how to make your own jams, jelly, and liquor.

Learn about the science of preserving and the magical transforming abilities of salt, sugar, vinegar and alcohol as you lock away seasonal flavours.

On this one-day practical course you will produce;

  • apricot jam
  • redcurrant jelly
  • blackcurrant liquor
  • red chilli jam

This hands-on course is ideal for those growing their own fruit and vegetables or for anyone wanting to master the art of preserving.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the School.

This course includes light refreshments and an informal lunch.
