Take a culinary journey back through time and join celebrated food historian Ivan Day as you create a selection of pies spanning the centuries.

Discover long-forgotten cookery techniques and explore the fascinating history of the iconic pie, with the expert guidance of Ivan Day.

Ivan will share his decades of research, bring along treasures from his vast collection of antiquarian cookery books and culinary utensils, and help you create a selection of your own pies using recipes dating back hundreds of years; from such mysteries as Lumber Pie and Venison Pasty to spectacular raised Victorian ornamented pies.

This course includes refreshments and lunch.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the School.
