·      Recognising a healthy hen

·      How to deal with a broody hen

·      Dealing with common pests and parasites

·      Predators and how to keep your hens safe

During the day you will visit some local hens, where you’ll have the chance to handle chickens. Please remember to bring suitable outdoor footwear or wellies for the trip.
