Facilities at The School of Artisan Food
Training Room One and Bakery
A centrepiece of the school, Training Room One features marble-topped workstations, state-of-the-art commercial and domestic ovens, and lots of light and space.
Butchery Training Room
Butcher’s block workstations and professional equipment allow this versatile room to accommodate a variety of meat based classes and modules. This training space is complemented by two separate walk-in chillers, food preparation and cooking facilities.
Dairy Training Rooms
A dedicated dairy training suite includes a fully equipped cheese and dairy room, purpose-built maturing facilities and its own adjoining, designated classroom.
Resource Room
Computer facilities, multimedia material and a collection of literature and journals provide a productive environment in which to study and host meetings (12 Maximum).
Demonstration Theatre
The 80-seat theatre has a kitchen especially designed for lectures and demonstrations. Students benefit from an overhead camera which links to a large screen for optimal viewing of the work surface. The theatre is supported by a designated preparation kitchen.
Common Room
The Common Room provides students with comfortably furnished areas where they can continue with academic activities or simply unwind in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
