Spend a day learning how to preserve spring’s harvest as you discover the science and the magical transforming abilities of salt, sugar, vinegar and alcohol.

Using seasonal ingredients learn how simple it is to create delicious preserves that can be stored in the larder, to be enjoyed throughout the year. On this course you will make;

  • Italian pickled asparagus
  • Rhubarb, orange and ginger marmalade
  • Spring vegetable piccalilli
  • Mango chutney
  • Pineapple and blueberry jam

This course includes light refreshments and lunch made by our in-house hospitality team.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the school.
