Join award-winning cider producer Simon Reed as he guides you expertly through every aspect of the cider making process and discusses the history and traditions of cider making both in the UK and abroad.
From juicing and bottling to labelling and legalities, this comprehensive course includes hands-on cider making sessions as well as tastings, discussions and a trip to a heritage orchard.
If you have an abundance of apples or pears, you are welcome to bring them along (Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring your own fruit.)
We recommend that students on this course have attended either the one-day Introduction to Cider Making course or have some basic knowledge of home brewing, wine or cider making.
This course includes light refreshments and an informal lunch. All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the School.
