Have an enlightening and fun-filled day discovering how to make some of the most popular pork products found at any classic butchers' counter.

On this practical one-day course, Master Butcher Chris Moorby will show you the best cuts of meat for each delicious product and teach you the techniques to making them. You'll leave the course will the confidence to recreate the tasty morsels at home.

You will create a range of authentic and delicious delights, including:

  • Gammon (brined)
  • Pâté (to be cooked at home)
  • Streaky bacon / back bacon / Welbeck spiced collar bacon
  • Pork pie
  • Savoury ducks

At the end of the course, you'll take away your own creations to enjoy at home.

Refreshments will be available on arrival and throughout the day as well as an informal buffet lunch. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
