Forget shop-bought canapés and the usual cocktails this Christmas. Explore exciting Italian-inspired appetisers and drinks with celebrated author and chef Lindy Wildsmith on this fun, practical one-day course.

During the course, Lindy will share some of her favourite Italian savoury canapés (cicchetti) and cocktail recipes and show you tips and techniques to make these crowd-pleasing creations at home.

  • Syrop de Grenadine (pomegranate syrup for cocktails)
  • Cranberry gin cordial
  • The Cardinal's Cap - a reviving festive mocktail for the elegant non-drinker
  • High Water Spritz - a Venetian cocktail with Prosecco and ginger
  • Hot smoked trout canapés with Venetian mostarda
  • Quail's eggs with anchovy or speck on fried bread
  • Mixed polpettine fritters
  • Chopped liver crostini

At the end of the day the whole class will enjoy a cocktail and a cicchetti tasting board. All products will be available to take home and enjoy.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, as well as a buffet style lunch prepared by our team of chefs. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
