Easter Chocolate Making Workshop


Chocolate is often plentiful at Easter time. Why not discover how to make your own festive delights using the finest of ingredients for your family and friends to enjoy.

Join experienced and knowledgeable patissière and chocolatière Shelly Preston for a fun and engaging day as she shares her secrets to making luxurious chocolate and confectionery.

This fantastic day will begin with a chocolate tasting and an overview of various chocolate and confectionery making techniques. You will learn the importance of tempering and how this is completed as you work in pairs to create a range of products including:

  • Hand painted chocolate Easter chicks and bunnies
  • Hand dipped layered ganache truffles
  • Learn how to infuse cocoa butter with spices and flavours to create your perfect chocolate bar

The course takes place two weeks before Easter weekend, giving you plenty of practice time for your delicious chocolates!

Each delicious product you make will be available to take home.

Refreshments will be available on arrival and throughout the day as well as an informal buffet lunch. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
