Delight and impress your family and friends this Easter, by learning how to make your own artisan chocolate Easter treats and gifts. Join award-winning patissière and chocolatière Shelly Preston of Ottar Chocolate for a fun, hands-on day, ideal for anyone with a passion for chocolate.
Your day will begin with a chocolate tasting, then Shelly will give you an overview of various chocolate and confectionery making techniques and share her secrets to making luxurious products from the finest ingredients. You will learn about the importance of tempering and be given the opportunity to try it as you work in pairs to create a range of products, including:
You’ll also discover how to infuse cocoa butter with spices and flavours to create your perfect chocolate bar.
Everything you make on the day will be available for you to take home and enjoy. And, as this course takes place two weeks before the Easter weekend, you’ll have plenty of time to practise and perfect what you learn before the holidays.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day, as well as a buffet style lunch prepared by our team of chefs. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
