Festive French Patisserie (two day)

If you're looking to try new dessert recipes this Christmas and want to impress your guests at festive dinner parties, this is the course for you. Delve into the wonderful world of patisserie with this intensive two-day baking course. Led by our French Master Baker Mickael Jahan, you’ll learn how to create festive tarts and patisserie, as he shares the skills and expertise gained during more than 20 years of hand-crafted baking in France and England.

The first day of the course will focus on the skills needed to master a range of homemade pastry-making techniques. You’ll then learn how to create a variety of sweet fillings, how to decorate your festive tarts and patisserie with precision and how to bake them to perfection. By the end of the course you will have the skills, knowledge and confidence to produce a selection of patisserie at home.

During the course you will be making delicious tarts and patisserie including:

  • Chocolate & coffee cream tartlets
  • Pears & mulled wine tarts
  • Paris Brest with hazelnut cream
  • Pain d'epices
  • Intense chocolate cake

Everything produced on the course will be available for you to take home and enjoy. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, as well as a buffet style lunch prepared by our team of chefs. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
