From Lisbon to Lancashire, learn to bake an impressive selection of sweet treats with this hands-on course.

This one-day will teach you a whole range of practical skills as you gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to produce sweet baked goods.

Join baker David Carter for a combination of expert demonstrations and hands-on baking, as you make a range of delicious pastries, including:

  • Pasteis de Nata – Portuguese inspired custard tarts
  • Maids of Honour Tart – An historic cheesecake from the court of Henry VIII
  • Eccles Cakes

  • All the food you make on the day will be available for you to take home. At The School of Artisan Food we make a conscious effort to reduce waste and packaging, so we encourage you to bring your own containers.

    Refreshments will be available throughout the day, as well as a light lunch pack prepared by our team of cooks. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
