Give your loved ones an authentic taste of Italy this Christmas. Under the expert guidance of acclaimed food writer and chef Valentina Harris you’ll discover how to create traditional Italian desserts and sweet treats designed to delight your family and friends over the festive season.

During this practical, one-day course Valentina will share her love of classic Italian food, equipping you with the confidence and the skills to create a selection of delicious desserts and edible gifts. Using the best seasonal produce, you’ll learn about the flavours and artisan techniques needed to recreate an authentic taste of Italy in your own kitchen.

No previous experience is necessary; just enthusiasm and a willingness to work alongside other food lovers to make real Italian desserts. By the end of this hands-on course you will have produced:

  • Nougat semifreddo
  • Traditional Panforte
  • Soft almond biscuits
  • Hazelnut and chocolate biscuits
  • Cantuccini al fico - Tuscan almond and fig dunking biscuits
  • Gubana - a simple panettone

Everything you make on the day will be available for you to take home and enjoy. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, as well as a buffet style lunch prepared by our team of chefs. All ingredients, equipment and recipes will be provided.
