Join Lindy Wildsmith for a day and learn how to make your own seasonal preserves.

Spend a day learning how to preserve spring’s harvest as you discover the science and the magical transforming abilities of salt, sugar, vinegar and alcohol.

Using seasonal ingredients learn how simple it is to create delicious preserves that can be stored in the larder, to be enjoyed throughout the year.

On this course you will make;

  • Onion, celeriac and ginger chutney
  • Lemon, lime and grapefruit marmalade
  • Mandarin jelly
  • Rhubarb cordial
  • Spiced red cabbage

This course includes light refreshments and an informal lunch.

All ingredients, equipment and recipes are provided by the school.
