If you want to learn to cook from scratch using fresh, organic and exciting foods of all types of flavours then this is the course for you. The Junior Cooks course teaches the inexperienced young chef how to understand flavours and techniques that are involved in the art of cooking.
The course commences with a brief introduction from Cordon Bleu trained chef, Justine Kanter, whereby she explains the aims sought from the course, this is then followed by hands on preparation which is then transferred to the final dish.
Throughout the day you make a variety of dishes whilst grasping the science of your end product. Then in the afternoon you are given a fresh and nutritious meal which has been prepared on site by the School's own chefs.
From this course I learned some new techniques, left with even greater enthusiasm and the belief that artisan food is definitely a place that I shall return to many times.
