Our facilities are purpose-built, with three training rooms for artisan food production supported by comfortable and state-of-the-art academic spaces.
A centrepiece of the School, Training Room One features marble-topped workstations, state-of-the-art commercial and domestic ovens, and lots of light and space.
Butcher’s block workstations and professional equipment allow this versatile room to accommodate a variety of meat based classes and modules. This training space is complemented by two separate walk-in chillers, food preparation and cooking facilities.
A dedicated dairy training suite includes a fully equipped cheese and dairy room, purpose-built maturing facilities and its own adjoining, designated classroom.
Computer facilities, multimedia material and a collection of literature and journals provide a productive environment in which to study and host meetings (12 Maximum).
The 80-seat theatre has a kitchen especially designed for lectures and demonstrations. Students benefit from an overhead camera which links to a large screen for optimal viewing of the work surface. The theatre is supported by a designated preparation kitchen.
The Common Room provides students with comfortably furnished areas where they can continue with academic activities or simply unwind in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. This space is next to the Lecture Theatre and can be used as a breakout area for refreshments or group discussion.
