The Kitchen Garden - Edible Flowers

Join award-winning florist and grower Rachel Petheram for an evening talk and demonstration devoted to discovering more about edible flowers. Perfect for gardeners, allotment growers, chefs and keen home cooks, this event will delve into the fascinating history of edible flowers and show you how to successfully grow your own.

Over the course of the evening Rachel will share her insight into the many medicinal and culinary uses of edible flowers and take you for a walk around the School’s garden for a tasting. You will learn how to propagate and cultivate a selection of flowers, as Rachel demonstrates skills including potting and taking a cutting to add to your own garden.
