New for 2026: German Baking with Emmanuel Hadjiandreou

Discover the rich traditions of German baking in this immersive, hands-on course led by award-winning baker Emmanuel Hadjiandreou. Perfect for passionate home bakers and professionals alike, this class celebrates Germany’s love for hearty, flavourful breads and pastries through three iconic recipes:

Seeded Spelt Sourdough (Dinkel Leinsamen Brot)

Craft a wholesome spelt sourdough enriched with linseeds for a nutty depth of flavour. Learn essential techniques for fermenting, shaping, and finishing with a rustic oat coating.

Classic German Pretzels

Master the art of shaping and dipping authentic pretzels to achieve their signature chewy texture and golden crust. Emmanuel will guide you through the traditional lye bath process using a safe bicarbonate solution.

Prune & Pepper Rye Bread

Explore bold, aromatic flavours with this dense rye loaf studded with sweet prunes and a hint of pink peppercorns. Discover the secrets of rye fermentation and create a perfect crust using steam baking.
